so hacking Xanga isn't so easy...

yeah. just spent a while trying to get my subscriptions module to work with Xanga. its a bitch because xanga doesn't allow outside scripts so i had to ... cleverly... insert code in ... creative... ways. All i could manage though was a module at the bottom of the screen or the top of the screen. I tried setting innerHTML on the subscriptions module but it didn't like that so much because i was using a script to create script tags and then the script tags were never run when they were part of innerHTML. blah. w/e i might work on it some more if i feel like fighting Xanga again. btw, if anybody want's to make use of my subscription thingy let me know and i'll set up a user account for you

w00t im hacking this

So the customizablility of this site rocks... im going to make a subscription manager for blogger/possibly LJ, maybe it'll catch on. The trick is to have php generate javascript which you then include in your page template with a <script> tag. Using document.write() you can basically put whatever you want in there.

First Post

w00t first blogger post! I'll give this a try anyway just cause it's google and google rocks. lol i might also need a blog my parents don't know about...
